Coastal Connections: A Celebration of Global Heritage by the Sea
Back to previous pageCoasts are some of the most dynamic and unpredictable environments on Earth, yet they are also where some of our most treasured places are located. Over the past two years, Coastal Connections has brought together custodians of over fifty sites from around the world, from Antigua to Zanzibar, to share practical solutions for addressing the complex challenges of managing coastal heritage. Drawn from members of the Coastal Connections global network, the panel will discuss why coastal heritage matters, whether we should protect it at all costs, and how we can have honest conversations about managing change, loss, and ultimately, its future.
