Emerging Pathways: Expanding Access to Design for Young Black Creatives
Back to previous pageEmerging Pathways will spotlight the future of design through the lens of education, access and
representation. This event explores traditional and non-traditional routes into the design and cultural industries, with a focus on supporting the next generation of Black creatives.
Through panel discussions, a documentary screening, access to resources and keynote conversations, the event will reflect on the structures shaping access to design careers and examine how institutions, communities and individuals can collectively foster more inclusive, interdisciplinary futures. Anchored by the NIgeria pavilion’s central themes of identity, heritage and cultural continuity, Emerging Pathways will serve as a call to action—pushing beyond visibility toward systemic change.
