Moral Fibres: when fashion consumes the body

The speakers include:

Designers working on two projects in the Andes: Zsofia Kollar from Human Material Loop, whose Peru pavilion showcases a community of weavers in Cusco transforming their own hair, and textile artist Cindy Lilen of the collective Madre Tierra Designers, which has created handcrafted wool sculptures for the Argentina pavilion.

They are joined by Alice Robinson of British Pasture Leather, the first and only producer of leather from the hides of cattle raised on regenerative farms in the UK.

The talk will be chaired by Debika Ray, programme director of the Global Forum talks programme at London Design Biennale.
